About the Role:
Our Operations Services Western Australia is seeking an experienced Truck drive/Rigger/Franna Crane operator to work as our Logistic Officer on an 8/6/7/7 Or 14/14 days and nights roster.
As a logistics offer you will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
- Willingness to travel as you will be working across all sites and assets for BHP as part of field service department.
- Commitment to the highest Work Health Safety and Environment standards in all activities, with the ability to apply workplace health and safety policies and procedures,
- A responsible attitude, with a willingness to be held accountable,
- A strong work ethic and ability to follow instruction as well as work well as an individual or as part of team.
- A willingness to learn and develop to align with BHP policies and procedures.
- Safe transportation of splicing parts and equipment around site and between operation
- Delivery of splicing parts and equipment to specific work locations
- Loading and unloading of parts and equipment
- Assist splicing teams to position splicing equipment at work location.
- Assisting as a TA on belt splicing jobs when required
- General rigging work related to splicing activities.
- Proactively inspect equipment to ensure in working order prior to use.
About you:
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- MC or HC Licence highly regarded
- CN Franna Licence & experience required
- High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Forklift & Load restraint experience preferred
- Dogging and basic rigging preferred
- Minimum of Heavy Rigid license (greater than 8,000 kg. OR Heavy Combination license (greater than 9,000 kg plus any unladen converter dolly)
- Minimum of C class manual driver's licence
